The rules of the game change for Ronald D. Moore’s second season alt history space race series: because war comes to the moon. Maybe moon piratesalso?
Apple just released a new trailer for it the second season from For all of humanity, the alternate history sci-fi series that imagines a world where the space race didn’t end with countries of the world putting astronauts in orbit and on the moon. Instead, tensions between the US and Russia continue to escalate as the Cold War simmers, adding the potential for conflict to NASA’s mission to put humanity in the stars.
What that means for our heroic astronauts is that, in addition to the wanderlust of wanting to go out and be at the forefront of the space race, they now have to contend with the increasingly real prospect of conflict on the moon. NASA must investigate reports that the USSR has deployed a military outpost on the Moon that could be capable of launching nuclear missiles at any target on Earth. Which of course would be bad!
For all of humanity returns to Apple TV + on Feb. 19.
