Xolo was born in the United States, in Los Angeles, California, but his love for Mexico led him not to think twice and pose with the jersey, and though little is known about his grandfather, revealed who it was.
‘My grandfather’s name was Ramon Francisco Sánchez and he was from Mexico City, unfortunately he died before I was born, so I never had the opportunity to meet him. However, I feel like I know him as my mom is always telling stories about him. After my mother was born, they moved to Las Vegas and opened a restaurant there. From what my grandmother tells me he was an exemplary manalthough at times it was also a headache. They loved him very much and I am excited to continue his legacyI know he never played in a World Cup, I can say that, but I would like to find more of his story as we are not that clear, ” he revealed.
