A CNN staffer admitted in a secretly recorded video that his network was producing “ propaganda ” to oust former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election – and bragged about their success.
Charlie Chester, a technical director at the cable network, was filmed by Project Veritas on a series of fake Tinder dates explaining how they “got Trump out of office.”
‘Look what we’ve done, we [CNN] Trump has taken out. I’m going to say it 100 percent, and I believe 100 percent that if it weren’t for CNN, I don’t know Trump would have been voted out, “Chester said, adding that he joined CNN because he” wanted to be a part of that. “.
Our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, that was it. “
Chester explained how they over-dramatized Trump’s health concerns by enlisting medical experts.
[Trump’s] hand was shaking or something I guess. We’ve brought in so many medical people to all tell a story that was all speculation – that he was neurologically damaged and that he lost it. He’s unfit for – you know – anything. We were making a story there that we didn’t know about. I think that’s propaganda, ”he said.
Asked by the sleuth if he and CNN were concerned about Joe Biden’s health during the election, Chester said the network had that in mind.
Obviously, letting him jog is a distraction from his age and they are [CNN] in an effort to make it say, ‘Oh, I’m healthy,’ ”said Chester.
The date asked, “What do you mean?”
‘We always showed pictures of him [Biden] jogging and that [he’s] healthy, you know, and him in aviator curtains. Like painting him like a young old man, ”Chester replied.
A source close to CNN said Project Veritas had attacked Chester via the dating app Tinder because his profile stated that he worked at CNN, Mediaite said.
The Project Veritas employee, who was not identified and claimed to be a nurse, went on five wire dates, including the latest at a coffee shop near Chester. It is unclear when the dates took place.
Chester told his ‘date’ that he would be okay with Biden’s death, as he thought Vice President Kamala Harris was ‘really real’.
“I argued so much about, like – my dad would say, ‘You are, you know, you vote for Kamala Harris because he’s going to die as president,’ Chester told the woman. ‘And I’m like,’ He’s not going to die. ‘But I’m okay with that. I’m okay with that. She could probably be in a board meeting, and you would hate her as a boss, but she’s real, and better than what we have anyway. “
Chester was asked if CNN covered up Biden tripping up the stairs.
‘But you talk about that briefly. You don’t make a huge story out of it, ”he said.
CNN did not respond to requests for comment from The Post.
Biden was criticized in the late summer and early fall of 2020 for limiting public appearances as part of his safety precautions for the coronavirus pandemic.
He consulted with his campaign officials and participated in interviews from a studio he had built in the basement of his home in Wilmington, Del.,.
During one meeting with his “ date, ” Chester shared how CNN also targeted anti-Trump voters by focusing on climate change and adding “ fear sells. ”
‘I think there is COVID fatigue. So when a new story comes up, they are [CNN’s] will click onto it. They have already announced in our office that once the public is open to it, we will focus on the climate, ”said Chester.

“I don’t know. I’m not sure. I have a feeling it will be like constantly showing videos of the ice decline and the warming weather, and the effects it is having on the economy,” said Chester .
When asked who makes that decision, he said “the head of the network,” referring to Jeff Zucker.
“I imagine he has his advice and they all liked to discuss, like where they think,” he said as he walked away.
He then said the new focus would be on a “p andemic story that we kill to death, but that has a long life.”
‘As if the pandemic would end definitively. It will decrease to a point where it is no longer a problem. Climate change can take years, so they will [CNN will] probably be able to milk that quite a bit, ”he said.
