Club León would get a player from Cruz Azul or a former player from Pumas as reinforcement

He Club Leon does not rest on its laurels, so after lifting the title of the past Liga MX 2020 is closed, the emerald team is already researching the transfer market to select the reinforcements that will support the table Nacho Ambriz looking for a new two-time championship.

According to information disclosed by journalist David Medrano Félix, the La Fiera team will be looking in its Record column for some reinforcements that can play close to the band, characteristics that the helmsman of the Panzas Verdes has explicitly requested.

The source indicates that there are not many players in the Mexican market who fit the profile that Nacho Ambriz wants, so he put players like Francisco Figueroa on Leon’s radar; from Pachuca; Pablo Barrera; Lion; and Elías Hernández; Blue cross.

Of the three mentioned, Elías Hernández has an emerald past, as the so-called Patrolman has already played with the Lion at two different stages; team with which he added 202 games played, scored 34 goals and assisted 55 times.

With La Fiera he won the Liga MX titles in the 2013-2014 season.

Hernández has a valid contract until the summer of 2021, so it would be ‘negotiable’ with Cruz Azul, a club he lost to prominence with last season playing 13 games, adding only 39% of the total minutes.

On the other hand, the signing of Pablo Barrera looks more complicated as Dinamita has a contract until 2023 and was an important part of the Atlético San Luis team.

The last of the candidates, Francisco Figueroa, is on contract until 2022, although he is a replaceable player in Pachuca’s ranks as he only added 15% of the minutes played in the last tournament.
