The Drrty singer took to her Instagram that night to write a note to her new era, filled with uplifting, empowering and inspiring thoughts as she embarks on this new decade.
‘Dear 40,’ Xtina began, ‘What a great concept… Not only to’ turn 40 ‘, but also to arrive 40 years ON!’
Aguilera went on to say that she has always ’embraced’ aging.
“I am an old soul forever, and I appreciate the wisdom, grace, and beauty that come with each new year of life.”
She also cited the unprecedented events of 2020.
“Our world has been turned upside down, but I have so much faith in the future.”

She took to her Twitter and Instagram accounts to share the short clip, featuring Megan Thee Stallion’s bass-heavy body-positive hit Body.
In the caption of the clip, where she walked down her hallway in the black-and-gold ensemble before looking at the camera with her face, she wrote: “Come 40 for you!”
