Chrissy Teigen and John Legend flew away on Tuesday as they headed to the East Coast for Joe Biden’s inauguration.
The couple, who married in 2013, were seen aboard a private jet in Los Angeles as they embarked on their journey to Washington DC.
John, 42, is one of many big names who will perform at the ceremony on Wednesday when the new president is sworn in.

Chrissy, 35, looked stylish in knee-high boots and a beige coat while carrying a Sesame Street blanket on the jet.
John will perform at the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, which will take place on the west side of the Capitol on Wednesday.
Lady Gaga will sing the national anthem for the inauguration ceremony and there will be performances by Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria, Garth Brooks, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen.
John, Bruce and The Foo Fighters will perform remotely.
Meanwhile, at the advice of her therapist, Chrissy has gone horseback riding.
The Lip Sync Battle star – who has kids Luna, four, and Miles, two, with John – and tragically lost a baby five months after her pregnancy last year – was advised to find a hobby that would allow her set to focus on herself and was excited to begin her ‘journey to the horse world’ on Sunday.

Chrissy tweeted a photo of a horse named Cosmo, writing, “My therapist says I need something that I only do for myself because I’m having absolutely nothing fun right now. Today my journey to the horse world begins. I hope this guy likes me. He’s so handsome and lazy looking, I love. ‘
But the 35-year-old beauty ran into a problem before getting close to the animal and struggled to zip up her new knee-high riding boots.
She tweeted: ‘Holy s ***. horse people: the boots! I used to think breaking in boots meant the foot part, but it also means the calf part because I’m dying here. (sic) ‘
And in an accompanying video, she whispered, ‘What the f ***. Oh my God. This. What is this? Holy s ***. Oh my go. ‘
She followed it up with a clip showing her on all fours trying to stretch the leather and burning the boots ‘brutally’.

She then shared a video of her mother, Vilailuck Teigen, using a massage device to soften the leather, and promised to try some of her followers’ other suggestions, including warming them up with a hairdryer or buying a shorter boot.
Gigi Hadid was one of those who gave tips.
She suggested, “ Grease them (a lot) and then roll the calf in like a cinnamon roll, tie a shoelace around it, and leave it overnight. (Sic) ‘
And it wasn’t just the boots that caused Chrissy trouble, as the Sports Illustrated model also shared a photo of herself with Luna, who was unimpressed that she was wearing jeans with her pink cowboy boots.
Chrissy captioned her Instagram post: ‘First ride AND first pair of jeans for Luna. She had an epic meltdown, really beautiful acting 10/10. (Sic) ‘
