Chick-fil-A, the number one chicken restaurant in the United States, has announced that its first locations in Puerto Rico will be at Plaza del Sol and Plaza Escorial.
“When Chick-fil-A first considered expanding into Puerto Rico, they quickly realized that Plaza del Sol in Bayamón and Plaza Escorial in Carolina were the perfect locations. Both leases have been signed and we are continuing to work on additional locations in our portfolio. We are very pleased to welcome Chick-fil-A to Puerto Rico and the RVI shopping centers, ”said Marielle de la Hoz, Senior Leasing Director.
The restaurant on Plaza del Sol is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2021 and that of Plaza Escorial in the first quarter of 2022.
More new stores for Puerto Rico in the RVI shopping centers
In recent months, the following stores have opened their first stores in Puerto Rico within the portfolio managed by Site Centers: Ximivogue in Plaza del Sol; Duck Donuts and Heeretea in Plaza Río Hondo. In addition, Arby’s will open its first store on the island for the third quarter of 2021 in Plaza Cayey.
Other new stores include: Parfois, La Nueva Era, Boost Mobile and The Fix in Plaza del Sol, Venecia Jewelry with its Pandora concept in Plaza Río Hondo, and Burlington and Dress My Tablet which opened in Plaza del Norte. Plus, it joins the All Ways 99 list with its recent opening in Señorial Plaza.
Meanwhile, Plaza Escorial, Grand Way, Exentrix, Pizza To Go, Acai Express and Duck Donuts converge. At Plaza Walmart in Guayama: U-Go Play and First Bank. In Plaza Isabela they opened Boost Mobile, Alberto & Co with the concept of Pandora and Triple S Vida. And in Plaza Fajardo, Grand Way and Fajardo Jewelry with Pandora will be added soon.
Emotions Beauty was in turn added to the Plaza del Atlántico. Finally, All Ways 99, Me Salvé and Rainbow have expanded the square footage of their existing spaces in the shopping centers to expand the offering to consumers.
