Mexico City- The ‘Charro de Huentitán’ will be celebrating his 81st birthday on Wednesday, but despite the festive atmosphere in which he was able to celebrate, the date arrives in the middle of the scandal due to a fan’s recent media complaint, which in turn has turned other controversial allegations against him.
However, this is not the first time that Vicente Fernández has been involved in riots that have led to severe criticism from the public.
They show it with a long hand
At the end of January, a video appeared on Tik-Tok showing the moment when Vicente Fernández touches the chest of a young woman, who posed next to him for the photo of the memory.
The material, which was shared via the user account @trplexxx, shows Chente putting his hand on the girl’s right breast.
The woman in the video handling Chente clarified in interviews that the event took place in 2017, although she decided to air it only a few weeks ago.
In an interview with Mara Patricia Castañeda, the interpreter denied that it was harassment and assured it was an accident.
But after this media complaint, other disagreements have broken out that keep the Jalisco artist in the eye of the hurricane.
Other fans are exposing it
After the first case, two other women decided to air their experiences with the singer on TikTok.
In both cases, raised on consecutive days, it is observed when Fernández puts one of his hands on sensitive parts of his admirers, who also posed with the artist for a photo.
Accused of rape
A few days ago, singer Lupita Castro revealed that she was raped by the “Charro de Huentitán” just over four decades ago. She was 17 years old at the time.
“It was in San Luis Potosí, after a presentation. He intimidated me little by little. He invited me into his room, he was very nice, we ate and then he invited me for a drink. I drank half a glass,” i felt dizzy and suddenly i was closer and quiet.
“We had said this wouldn’t happen, but the fight started. He got very tough and the truth was I was very scared. I said no, and he did,” Castro said in a program on the Telemundo network.
His reputation as a womanizer
It has always been said that the musical icon was a coquero and womanizer in his best times, something he himself confirmed in a few interviews.

Unfaithful to his wife Cuquita
Chente married María del Refugio Abarca, better known as “Doña Cuquita”, almost 58 years ago, with whom he married his children Gerardo, Alejandro and Vicente Jr. fathered, but on several occasions he was labeled unfaithful.
It is even said that during his role as an actor he had affairs with artists of the status of Angélica María, with whom he starred in the film Entre Monjas Anda el Diablo (1973) and Manoella Torres, with whom he collaborated in the film El Albañil (1975).

In the 1990s, the scandal was sparked by the singer’s alleged paternity outside of his marriage, to which he responded by taking charge of Rodrigo, who supposedly was the result of his relationship with Patricia Rivera.
The fact is that Chente cheated on Doña Cuquita with the actress he met in the movie El Arracadas (1978), as today I have no hesitation in giving his last name to the 33-year-old.
At the beginning of 2000, however, there was still a controversy at Fernández, because through a DNA test he learned that Rodrigo, who also devotes himself to music, does not carry his blood.
Merle Uribe stated that he was her lover
In 2008, former star Merle Uribe revealed that she was Chente’s lover 20 years ago. The two met on the set of the movie Picardia Mexicana 2 (1980).
The actress assured that although their relationship lasted two years, she was always aware that the Jalisco man would never abandon Doña Cuquita.
Uribe also stated that Fernández wasn’t that great and that he even went with her.
After the controversy created by the former star’s statements, Chente defended herself and spoke to the media.

Homophobic statements
Strong homophobic revelations put Fernández back in the eye of the 2019 hurricane.
And it is that in an interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante for Grupo Imagen, Chente recalled that he had cancer in 2012 and did not want to have a liver transplant for fear that the organ belonged to a homosexual.
“I went on a world tour and when I was in Houston they found a small ball in the middle of the two bile ducts and it was cancer. When they said it was cancer, I interrupted the tour,” the interpreter said.
