We stopped playing a bit [in the second half]. I thought Kovacic was coming to get us on the ball a lot better. West Ham can hurt you anytime with a ball in the box or a game. It wasn’t vintage tonight, the best was the character after two defeats.
This season looks different from any other season for many reasons. It’s difficult for a club with expectations like us. When you are undefeated, a lot of things go really well, then suddenly you get a few challenges if you lose a few games. I have to be the one driving it. If you get off it a little bit, there’s no easy way back except for a piece of graft.
[Being fifth] feels okay. I want more. We have to want more, keep pushing. The higher we aim, the more sober we stay after good wins, the better.
