The F1 driver, Sergio Pérez claim the payment of 2.8 million dollars (58 million pesos) a MG1 comprehensive assistance, an outsourcing company of Pemex, who withdrew “sponsorship in advance and in bad faith”, a contract that the sponsorship of Pemex, agreed October 9, 2018 and all of 2019, but this last year it was not implemented because of the changed administration.

The oil company states that it had ‘different spending priorities’ and could therefore no longer continue with the sponsorship for the 2019 season, it was announced by the Chihuahua newspaper.

How is the dispute between Checo and Pérez?

According to the SDPnoticias portal, there are certain points that need to be emphasized in the case and about the current situation of the dispute.

And is that the Ninth District Civil Court rejected Checo Pérez’s request to insure MGI accounts until 2.8 million dollars, as a precaution.

But that’s not to say everything has been said since the judge Rodolfo Sánchez Zepeda issued a judgment on October 9, in which the MGI partially acquitted and partially convicted, but the verdict still remains has not been published by the court, as both parties appealed the verdict to a unitary court, which would drag on the last case for several months.
