ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) – A murder suspect leads authorities on a dangerous chase through Riverside and Los Angeles counties on Tuesday night.
The AIR7 HD was over the chase around 6:00 PM when the driver was driving a black pickup truck at high speed on the 60 Freeway.
The suspect moved to the eastern area of San Gabriel Valley and drove over 75mph with multiple officers behind him.
Delegates from Riverside County and California Highway Patrol units were in pursuit.
At one point, the driver hurled dangerously past several cars on the highway. When the chase turned to surface streets, the suspect turned into oncoming traffic and narrowly avoided a collision.
It was unclear whether anyone else was in the truck.
