Channing Tatum is on the finishing touches to join Sandra Bullock in the upcoming romantic adventure The Lost City Of D.

Channing Tatum maintains his future work schedule.

The 40-year-old is reportedly in the latest negotiations to co-star with Sandra Bullock in the upcoming romantic adventure film The Lost City Of D, according to Variety.

The feature film will also be co-produced by Bullock under its Fortis Films banner.

Adam and Aaron Nee, who directed the 2015 crime comedy Band Of Robbers, will direct the upcoming project.

The film follows a novelist who is put on a book tour with her cover model. During their journey, the two experience a kidnapping attempt that ends up in the middle of the jungle, where they must rely on each other to survive.

The feature film is based on an idea by Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon that was adapted into a script with input from Dana Fox and Oren Uziel.

Gordon will also co-produce the film through his production company Exhibit A Films.

Bullock’s first foray into producing came with the 1998 drama film Hope Floats, in which she also co-starred with Harry Connick Jr; the feature was directed by Forest Whitaker.

The 56-year-old actress has produced a number of other films over the course of her career, including the 2000 comedy Miss Congeniality and its 2005 sequel.

In 2002, she served as executive producer on the highly successful ABC sitcom George Lopez.

The show ran for six seasons and was nominated for numerous critical accolades during its broadcast.

Tatum recently wrapped up the production of his upcoming comedy film Dog, in which he stars.

The actor also serves as a co-director and co-producer, along with his movie partner Reid Carolin.

Dog will follow Army Ranger Briggs, played by Tatum, and his canine companion as they embark on a hectic west coast road trip to attend a funeral.

While Dog will mark the actor’s directorial debut, he has served as a producer in many of his other films, including 21 Jump Street, Magic Mike and White House Down.
