In the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, not only the match between Everton and Manchester United was marked on the calendar. Since the last, the individual duel that Yerry Mina and Edinson Cavani would have had already been heating up. The last time they saw each other was in Colombia for qualifying and central Guachené was excluded.

Well, the two South American players had another chapter in England and it was pretty tough. For the 90 minutes, Yerry Mina was in charge of Uruguay’s personal best until he managed to get him out of control on a cross they had after a goal kick.

With the ball in the air, Mina took Cavani, the Uruguayan didn’t like the Colombian’s contact until he finally grabbed him by the neck and the blows came. Yerry landed on the floor, the referee warned them both and there the dispute ended.
