Cardi has already indicated that she can’t tweet without being bombarded with messages about dropping new music – and that bothers her. Recently, when she was just trying to compliment Lizzo on a recent photo shoot, her answers were filled with questions about when both artists started teaming up, seemingly pushing Cardi into a wall.
On Friday, the rapper took to Twitter to announce a new business venture: a doll

Cardi B partners with Being real women, a new and exclusive doll brand to release the figurine. The brand takes inspiration from making dolls that portray diversity and impactful women in color.
In a statement, Cardi expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, telling fans that she hopes the new toy line will help ‘inspire’ little girls around the world.
“As everyone knows, I am a mother. And today, more than ever, I think it’s important to give my daughter inspiration and tough women to look up to, “said Cardi B.” Working with Real Women Are is an opportunity for me to provide my daughter and other little girls with something that looks like them to play with to inspire them. We are now in the White House, but we are still far behind other places. Representation is important. “
“What makes Real Women Are special is that young, colored girls are a priority for the doll brand,” continued the “UP” rapper.
“We want them to know they are special. That they are worth having toys that look like them. We don’t build Real Women Are as an afterthought or something to check off a box. Making a doll that is a mirror of our daughters, nieces and granddaughters is at the heart of us. “
The Bronx resident gushed more about the project on ABCs 3rd hour of today.
While this is an exciting move for the Grammy award-winning artist, fans weren’t too impressed. Unsurprisingly, some impatient followers expressed disappointment with the 28-year-old releasing a custom pop instead of a new album. She ended up getting so many messages expressing that same sentiment, that she has deactivated her Twitter account.
Dan, Cardi went to Instagram live to explain her frustration.
“I’m so busy. I work on a lot of things to please people, ”she said on Instagram Live. “I want to please my fans because you’ve been asking for something from me for a long time that I can’t say, and I’m doing it for you guys …” um, you drop pop, we want an album! “How do I have to be rich? How do I build up my net worth? “
Luckily for Belcalis, her doll sold out in minutes, so it looks like it isn’t everyone was disappointed in the announcement.
