With just a week to launch, you wouldn’t expect Capcom to have any more disclosures before Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection, but last night’s Nintendo Direct told us otherwise. For the first time in Ghosts’ n Goblins history, Resurrection introduces a co-op mode.
Arthur is available locally for two players and can be assisted by one of three supporting characters: Barry provides barriers for defense, Kerry provides transport by carrying Arthur through danger, while Archie creates bridges to cross.
If you’d like to learn more, game director Tokuro Fujiwara recently revealed some insights into the development of Resurrection, explaining everything from art style to Arthur’s choice of underwear. You can pre-order it now for £ 24.99 / $ 29.99 / € 29.99.
