Capcom announces Monster Hunter Rise Day One update, unlocks pre-order and amiibo bonuses

When CEOs let employees take a day off Monster Hunter Rise, you can tell people are raving about Capcom’s latest entry. Just before launch, Capcom revealed that it will release a day one patch for Rise.

Fortunately, with a speed of 600MB, it’s a pretty small one, and if you’ve opted for a digital copy, that’s about 8GB of memory space. Aside from a few unspecified bug fixes, this patch primarily grants access to content in the Deluxe kit, and also unlocks pre-order and amiibo bonuses.

With this version 1.1.1, there isn’t much else here, and Capcom has released these patch notes:

Main additions / changes
Access to the content of the Deluxe Kit, as well as the additional content of pre-order bonuses and amiibo bonuses.

Bug fixes / Miscellaneous
Several bug fixes have been made.

We had excellent things to say in our Rise review. By awarding it 9/10 stars, we called it “a new high point for the franchise,” and other publications have been impressed as well. If you want to distract yourself until Friday, check out the recent feature in Monster Hunter history.
