CAN YOU HELP? Omaha police investigate Westroads Mall shooting in search of ‘persons of interest’

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Homicide detectives from the Omaha Police Department investigating Saturday’s deadly shooting at Westroads Mall are looking for three “interesting persons.”

On Saturday evening, OPD sent a photo with a request to help the public identify the people in the photo.

Police said witnesses or anyone with information about this shooting, including anything they might see on social media, should call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.

Traquez Swift, 21, died in hospital after police said he was gunned down at Westroads Mall around noon on Saturday. A 22-year-old woman was also injured in the shooting, but authorities said her injuries were not life-threatening.
