Cam’Ron Fletcher enters the transfer portal

We all knew there was going to be some attrition after the 9-16 season and the first domino has arrived in Lexington. According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, Cam’Ron Fletcher has officially entered the portal.

The former top-100 prospect chose the Wildcats over Alabama, Kansas, Oregon, and a host of other schools. The resident of St. Louis, MO averaged 20.6 points and 9.8 rebounds as a high school student. After starting early in the season, playing time disappeared for the young player and then for the incident happened against North Carolina.

After being away for some time, Fletcher returned to the program, but only played in a few games to close the season. He joins Johnny Juzang and Jemarl Baker as recent players transferred from the program after just one season.

Stay tuned for updates as the coaching staff begins rebuilding the roster.
