COUNTY MIAMI-DADE, Fla. Everglades National Park hosts special events Saturday and Sunday to celebrate Miami Dark Sky Week. Ranger-led events help guests explore the night sky from the Everglades.
An astronomy group will make a telescope available to visitors to ‘The Park After Dark’ in Shark Valley on Saturday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Visitors can cycle through the park and explore the Bobcat Boardwalk.
No registrations are required for this event.
Also on Saturdays, the Flamingo Visitor Center hosts a nightly event at 8:30 PM. Registration is required for this event.
All events are also free at a paid entrance fee to the park.
