The coach divided those 31 days into three levels in which different intensities alternate and a few days are devoted to rest. To achieve your goal, you must follow their instructions, especially regarding the question on the days when you need to walk with more intensity.

This is your plan to lose weight by walking

– Phase A: you will do it on days 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 14, 19 and 25. During these days the pace of the walk will be light. It is especially helpful for those people who are starting to exercise.

– Phase B: The intensity of the exercise will increase and you will do it on days 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30 and 31.

– Rest days: 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 16, 20, 24 and 28.

How to Walk to Lose Weight

In phase A.: Warm up for three minutes by walking at a normal pace, continue at a brisk pace for one minute and at a normal pace for two minutes. Then alternate 12 minutes of brisk and normal walking, such as two minutes normal and one fast, and finish with three minutes of walking at a normal pace.

In phase B.: Walk at a normal pace for three minutes of warm-up, plus one minute of brisk walking, plus another minute of normal walking. After this, you should alternate between ten minutes of fast and normal walking every minute. I mean, a quick minute, another normal minute. When you’re done, do six minutes with the brisk walk taking one minute and the normal walk only 30 seconds. End with a normal pace of walking for three minutes.
