According to an investigation by Washington Post, residents of the city of Comitancillo, a town in Guatemala near the border with Mexico, say that of the 19 bodies13 are from that community respectively: three women and ten men. This claim does not necessarily contradict what was discovered by the Tamaulipas parquetbecause up to this Saturday, January 30, forensic physicians acknowledged that 16 men, a woman and two remains have been identified so far.

To the inquiry should be added what was stated by Héctor López Ramírez, Mayor of Comitancillo, who reported that a group of his nationals are already in the United States.

According to a note from Cnn in Spanishthe mayor stated that a woman from the municipality had contacted her family by telephone to report that her fellow travelers had been murdered.

The same people who come from those families have said and explained that it is a large groupBut there is a group that has already reached the north, that has already arrived in the United States, so there are some witnesses to the massacre, ”he added.

Later they advanced to the US; Nevertheless, one truck, the one that was rescued, suffered a technical failure, that’s why it fell behind. The trucks continuing their advance where they were reportedly attacked.

The group was large, there is even a group that has already arrived and that was with this group. One of the trucks that went with the group, from the two groups, was rescued because it had mechanical problems along the way. The others who came forward had the accident“, He explained.
