Popular American YouTuber and philanthropist Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson ventured into the food industry, introducing a chain of burger joints called ‘MrBeast Burgers’ to cities across the United States. But the content creator, best known for challenging high-stakes videos, unveiled the new fast food joint in its own classic way – giving away wads of cash, brand new iPads, and even a car.

In a video shared Saturday entitled “I Opened a Restaurant Where You Get Paid to Eat There,” MrBeast did just that. The YouTuber, which has more than 48.2 million subscribers, opened a small takeout restaurant in North Carolina and put up a free food sign outside. When they saw the sign, thousands queued outside the restaurant all day and no one went home empty-handed.

Aside from burgers and fries, MrBeast and his team gave away $ 100 cash with every order. Some lucky customers even received iPads, Apple AirPods and other expensive gadgets. When a person in the queue complained that her car was scratched on the way to the collection window, he gifted her a brand new car.

But as the lines outside the restaurant got longer, to a point where the local police needed to step in, the content creator and his friends decided to close the store for the day. Shortly after, he announced the launch of 300 ‘MrBeast Burger’ restaurants on Twitter.

But MrBeast’s over-the-top generosity wasn’t just for the video. For every burger bought, a small donation is made to a charity helping hungry families across the country. His burgers and fries are available on almost every popular US delivery app, including Postmates and UberEats.

While the burgers may not be available internationally yet, MrBeast says he is “doing everything in my power” to bring the chain to his audience abroad.
