José Angel de Jesús (“El Poli”) is a Dominican percussionist who has played with major salsa orchestras such as the Fania All Star, Celia Cruz and José Alberto El Canario, but now lives in the downfall of the drug world, in dire conditions in the Capotillo neighborhood in Santo Domingo, according to the exponent Bulin 47.
“The drug has ruined him, he lives in a way that no man would want to live the way he does. He lives in a state that is very sad because of the drugs, ”says Bulin in a video sponsored by the Somos Topo Point Foundation.
In the last part of the message, Hancel Teodoro Vargas calls Reynoso (real name of the interpreter): “Please, young Dominican, say no to drugs.”
The singer has become popular with young people for songs like “El juidero” and “Siete pollos”.
