The Arizona Cardinals added safety Budda Baker to Thursday’s injury report, with Baker receiving limited designation due to a neck injury.

The timing isn’t ideal for the Cardinals, as security Chris Banjo was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Thursday. That leaves Jalen Thompson, Deionte Thompson and Charles Washington as the three other protections on the active roster.

Jalen Thompson has fully exercised both Wednesday and Thursday and will return for the first time since week 11 due to an ankle injury.

Elsewhere, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was upgraded from DNP to limited as it tackles a hip problem. That same upgrade also came for linebacker Haason Reddick (hip) and tight Maxx Williams (ankle).

Running Chase Edmonds (hip), wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (groin), and tight end Darrell Daniels (hamstring) all didn’t train for the second day in a row.

For the Los Angeles Rams, running back Cam Akers did not participate on Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury. Aaron Donald trained in full on Thursday after missing Wednesday for non-injury related reasons.
