The Washington Post reported, “Dozens of migrant teens boarded on Monday for the journey up a dusty road to a former oilfield workers camp here, the first migrant child facility opened under Biden’s government” and the “emergency facility – a holdover from The Trump administration, which was only open for a month in the summer of 2019, is being reactivated to accommodate 700 children ages 13-17.

But anyone who relies on broadcast networks for their news would have no idea, according to the MRC.

Despite The Washington Post breaking the story overnight, none of the morning or evening news broadcasts on ABC, CBS, and NBC shared anything about Biden’s childhood kennels with their viewers. But it was last Thursday that all three networks bragged about Biden’s push for an immigration revision and a “ path to citizenship, ” wrote MRC news analyst Nicholas Fondacaro.
Fondacaro called it a “blatant double standard in how the liberal media is applying outrage,” noting “CBS and NBC gawk at Mexican drug lord El Chapo’s wife appearing in court” rather than covering Biden’s migrant facility for children.
NBC, ABC and CBS “spent some of their morning news broadcasts gouging Biden’s candlelight vigil for COVID victims,” Fondacaro added.

Even the Post’s headline, which read, “ First Migrant Facility for Children Opens Under Biden, ” seemed far more charitable than the Post’s coverage of former President Donald Trump, especially during the 2018 migrant crisis when the government’s policy for the forced separation from children. migrant families.
