Britney Spears posts a throwback photo with Justin Timberlake two months after apology

Britney Spears celebrated sister Jamie Lynn’s birthday with a throwback photo with ex, Justin Timberlake.

The Friday night post comes two months after the Man of the Woods artist apologized to Spears for contributing to her declining public image during the early years.

“Happy belated birthday to this beautiful soul πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚ !!!” Britney, 39, wrote in the caption for the post, featuring Spears, Timberlake, 40, and another woman surrounding a young Jamie Lynn – who turned 30 on Sunday, April 4.

β€œI love you so much and damn, I wish I were as smart as you were at 30 !!!,” Spears continued. β€œIt is strange to say that I was actually your mother when you were younger and yes I am still older, but your soul is and has always been wise !!!!

β€œI am truly and sincerely inspired by your path and the life you have created for your beautiful children and I am so f-king proud to call someone as beautiful inside as you my sister !!!,” she added .

Spears went on to praise Jamie Lynn’s strength, recalling her little sister who beat her with the wrestling moves when they were kids.

β€œI wish I was as strong as you and have a happy birthday 🎊 !!!!,” she concluded.

Fans were immediately introduced to the photo choice, with one comment: “What a strange photo to choose.”

Another added: β€œIt’s Britney and Justin in the right corner for me”. Glad she chose this photo. Now someone is investigating πŸ”Ž. ”

Others don’t even believe Spears posted the birthday dedication, echoing former makeup artist Billy Brasfield, who claims the Southern singer told him she had no control over certain posts.

However, her camp recently told PageSix that the star is in control of her own social media accounts.

In February, Timberlake posted a lengthy Instagram message, admitting to his “ignorance” about Spears’ media handling after his split from the “Toxic” singer, following the release of the documentary “Framing Britney Spears”. He also spoke about the coverage surrounding his 2004 Super Bowl appearance with Janet Jackson, in which she got a squeeze.
