Britney Spears’ former home amid a breakdown is selling for $ 6.4 million

Britney Spears’ former Beverly Hills home has sold for $ 6.4 million, The Post can report exclusively.

The six-bedroom, seven-bath estate belonged to the pop singer between 2007, when she broke up with husband Kevin Federline, and 2012, the years when she went in and out of rehab and fought for custody of her two sons.

According to Los Angeles property records, the house was first listed in July 2018 for $ 9.45 million, but the price has since dropped significantly over the years by nearly $ 3 million. The new owner of the house finally made an offer on January 15.

Spears, now 39, chose the property for its paparazzi-resistant elements. The gated property is in a gated community and keeps out prying eyes.

The 7,453 square foot estate has high ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, home theater and separate maid quarters. The living room opens out to a backyard with manicured gardens, a fire pit and a custom pool and spa.

The pop star “Oops… I Did It Again” has had her share of trouble since she rose to fame, and has been unable to control most aspects of her life for years thanks to a conservatorship. Her father, Jamie Spears, and recently a “care manager” has had legal, financial and professional control over Britney for the past 12 years.

Recently, her mother, Lynne, tried to become a partner at the conservatory. But when a judge asked Britney to sign a statement so that there would be a firsthand account of her thoughts, her own attorney, Sam Ingham, compared her to a comatose patient.

Since then, there has been a growing social media movement from her conservatorship towards “#FreeBritney” so that she can have authority over her $ 60 million fortune. In August, a judge ordered an extension of the established conservatory until February, when they will review the case.
