Jamie Spears was first appointed by a court as co-curator of Britney’s estate and person in 2008, after a series of personal troubles for the singer that took place in public.
Ingham filed a petition last August to remove Britney’s father as a curator. At a hearing on the matter in November, Ingham said Britney was ‘scared’ of her father. The judge ruled to retain Spears as curator and appointed Bessemer Trust to act as co-curator of her $ 60 million estate.
Jamie has never disputed or objected to Bessemer’s appointment as his co-curator. And at the latest hearing it was reported that Jamie was trying to gain more power than his co-curator, and that is completely false. had the same amount of power, that was always consistent, ”Thoreen said.
She told CNN that her client has no control over whether his daughter needs conservatorship and that it is entirely up to the court.

CNN has confirmed with the Los Angeles Superior Court that conservatories are undergoing a review process, but does not want to comment specifically on the Spears Conservatory.

While Britney has not commented publicly on the ongoing battle for the conservatoire, she did respond to recent speculation as to whether she plans to perform again.
