A married teacher accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student reportedly told a British court three times that at four feet tall she was “too short” for this to be possible.
Mother of three Kandice Barber, 35, is accused of straddling the boy in her car, having sex in a field and performing a sexual act with him in the woods in 2018.
But her attorney said she was so “small” that she only got to the teen’s shoulder, making their alleged romps physically impossible, The Sun reported.
The student initially denied the affair, thinking he might have impregnated her, but later confessed that after she sent him topless Snapchat photos, it began spreading across Princes Risborough’s high school in Buckinghamshire, a court heard in September .
Barber has always denied the alleged contacts, claiming that the intimate images had been hacked from her phone.
But researchers later found a series of seemingly incriminating Google searches, including “alibi” and “lying about where you’ve been,” The Sun reports.
On Tuesday, the jury was told that the woman had already been convicted for sending the boy a video of her performing a sexual act on her bed, the news outlet said.
But her attorney, Nadia Chbat, told Amersham Law Courts that the alleged feuds never took place.
“You told the police you were behind her. You pulled your clothes down, ”she told the now 18-year-old. ‘You accept that she’s quite small, only about five meters, don’t you, so you were taller than her then, right?
‘You didn’t even think she could reach your shoulders then, did you? Let’s just get it, you get out of the car and walk into a small wooded area – that’s where she, you say, performed oral sex on you, ”she said.
Why would you get out of the car at all? She sits on top of you and you perform a sexual act in the car. What was the need to get out of the car? Chbat continued.

“You both walk to this wooded area and that’s when you lay down in the wooded area and say she did oral sex with you.”
The alleged victim told the court they had to get out of the car because Barber had parked along a busy road next to his Buckinghamshire home, The Sun reported.
Jurors also heard that Barber allegedly threatened to “bring down the complainant” if he reported her.
“You can’t make me blush if I teach now, poker face,” she allegedly texted him in class, the court said.
Barber has denied three times of causing or inducing a child under the age of 16 to engage in sexual acts and once from sexual communication with a child.
She also denied one time that she induced or induced a child to engage in sexual activities while in a position of trust, and one time that a child views a person’s sexual act in a position of trust.
