Favre, speaking about it on his podcast “Bolling with Favre,” said he doesn’t believe Chauvin killed Floyd deliberately. However, the Green Bay Packers legend says his “actions were inappropriate.”

“I find it hard to believe – and I am not defending Derek Chauvin in any way – first of all, I find it hard to believe that he purposely wanted to kill George Floyd,” Favre said via TMZ Sports.

That said, his actions were inappropriate. I don’t care what color the person on the street is, ”Favre continued. “You don’t know … I don’t know what led to that video we saw where his knee was on his neck, but the guy had thrown in the towel … It was just inappropriate.”

Favre also talked about the reactions to him that he wants politics out of the sport. Although he has expressed his opinion on Chauvin’s statement, he says he backs what he said.
