At least one person has died and up to six people have been injured in a shooting at a hotel in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Police responded to a call for gunfire on the 5th floor of the Indian Lakes Resort on Saturday morning at 2.35am, Fox 32 Chicago reported.
Some of the victims were on site, others were taken to hospital.

It is believed that several people occupy one or two rooms. No one is detained and the police think the suspects have fled the scene.
A SWAT team was also on site, insuring the rooms, reports suggest.
According to ABC 7, Frank Giammarese, director of Bloomingdale Public Safety, said the person killed was a man in his 20s.
