Brandi Glanville takes to Twitter to straighten out support for LeAnn Rimes on vocal show

Brandi Glanville took to Twitter on Thursday to clarify her support for The Masked Singer winner LeAnn Rimes.

The 48-year-old reality star had been criticized on social media for posting about LeAnn, 38, being the sun before the season four finale aired on Fox on Wednesday.

She later tweeted as the finale aired on the west coast: ‘I want to say it, but I won’t say it because I’m on NyQuil with a sore throat … it’s not over until the masked lady sings’.

That tweet was also roundly criticized in the comments, with some accusing Brandi of being angry, disrespectful and hateful.

The former star of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, despite still feeling under the weather, tried to settle the matter on social media.

First of all, I did not obscure or dispel the lean times I had rooted for her. She clearly told my kids that she would never do the show to keep things secret because they have a big mouth. She deserved to win. I am glad she won! stop reading in s ***! Brandi tweeted Thursday.

LeAnn has been married to Brandi’s ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, 47, since April 2011.

Eddie and LeAnn were both married when they had an affair that led to divorces.

Brandi has sons Mason, 17, and Jake, 13, with Eddie and she who referred to LeAnn as the boys’ ‘bonus mom’ in her tweet marked a significant thawing in their icy relationship.

LeAnn during the finale, disguised as Sun, sang Brandi Carlile’s 2007 song The Story she previously covered for her Remnants album, saying the song was a “ tribute ” to the person who encouraged her to fly.

“Our bond is a testament that love really conquers all,” she said.

LeeAnn also released a new song entitled Throw My Arms Around The World on Wednesday, along with an accompanying behind-the-scenes video clip.
