The daughter of former Omaha, Neb., Mayor Jim Suttle and state senator Deb Suttle, was found dead Saturday, according to family announcements on Facebook.
According to the Omaha World Herald, 48-year-old Amber Tjaden went missing on Jan. 27 after her adult daughter filed a missing person.

Her husband, Matthew Tjaden, was subsequently arrested on January 29 on suspicion of flight to avoid arrest and neglect of the child after a Cass County sheriff’s deputy went to their home to conduct an investigation.
Tjaden reportedly posted bail on Monday.
On Friday, a black SUV belonging to Amber Tjaden was found on a remote road. Shortly after, a body was found nearby.
The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office has not released the identity of the person found, but family members of Tjaden took to Facebook to announce her death.
“It is with pain in my heart that I share that my mother’s car was found and that she was found nearby and passed away,” her daughter, Savannah Suttle wrote on the social media platform to the local news outlet.

Amber Tjaden’s brother-in-law, Mike Lewis, also used the online platform to thank all those who helped in her search.
“By sharing all of your information and messages, we were able to assist the investigation and ultimately bring it to fruition, so I would like to thank all of you for your help,” said Lewis.
According to court documents obtained by the Omaha World Herald, Amber Tjaden filed protection orders against her husband on two separate occasions in 2015.
She noted that her husband was going to ‘go wild’ and was paranoid about cars passing their house. Her petitions also alleged aggressive behavior, noting that he would slam walls, break picture frames and threaten to kill her and her father, the news outlet reported.

The petitions were withdrawn despite a judge issuing both orders.
