Bobby Green collapses after weighings; Jim Miller fights

Bobby Green was making weight for his UFC 258 fight with Jim Miller, but it seems to have been a struggle. And now their fight is over.

Green was the last fighter to weigh in at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Friday morning, hitting the 156-pound lightweight limit. He walked over to the scales and got up without help.

When it came time for the pre-fight face-offs about 25 minutes later, Green and Miller didn’t participate. UFC President Dana White explained why during his scrum with reporters.

“Bobby Green just collapsed there,” White said. ‘Doctors look at him. They are now trying to rehydrate him. “

Later on Friday, the UFC announced that Green vs. Miller had been removed from UFC 258. Entering the main map will be a featherweight fight between Brian Kelleher and Ricky Simon.

There is no word at this point on Green’s condition.

Green (11-27-1 MMA, 8-6-1 UFC) was looking to recover from a unanimous decision loss against Thiago Moises last October that broke a three-fight winning streak. Miller (32-15 MMA, 21-14 UFC) also wanted to get back into the win column after dropping a decision to Vinc Pichel last August.

With the change, the completed UFC 258 lineup includes:

MAIN MAP (Pay-per-view, 10:00 PM ET)
