A study from the University of Oxford found that the number of people who get blood clots after being vaccinated with a coronavirus vaccine is about the same for those who receive Pfizer PFE.
and Moderna MRNA,
vaccines as they are for the AstraZeneca AZN,
vaccine produced with the help of the university. According to the study, 4 in 1 million people experience cerebral vein thrombosis after receiving the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, versus 5 in 1 million people with the AstraZeneca vaccine. The risk of CVT is much higher for those who get COVID-19 – 39 per million patients – than for those who get vaccinated. The use of AstraZeneca vaccines has been discontinued or restricted in many countries due to concerns about blood clots.
