Recently, Treyarch started teasing that it had a lot in store Call of Duty: Cold War’s Black Ops Zombies game mode next week on January 15th. At the time of the plague, we weren’t sure what the developer had in store, but as of today, some of that information appears to have been leaked now.
Spotted through the Microsoft Store, a free trial of Call of Duty: Cold War’s Black Ops The game mode Zombies has appeared. The listing states that this download will go live on January 14th and give players a full week of access. During this period are those who want to play the full Zombies aspect Black Ops Cold War just need to download and run this iteration of the game.
While this is one of the biggest surprises Treyarch seems to have in store for 115 days, it probably won’t be the only one. Next week may bring in more revelations of future content for Zombies Black Ops Cold War, some of which might even roll out next week in addition to this free access period.
Of course, as it should be clear, other sections of it Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cannot be played through this download. So if you want to dip your toes into the realm of the campaign multiplayer for Black Ops Cold War, you have to buy the game as normal.
While this free trial will only appear in the Microsoft Store for now, you should be able to access it on all of the game’s usual platforms. This includes PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. However, I could be wrong on this point, so don’t consider it the absolute truth just yet.
