Big Hit Entertainment, YG Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Kiswe Mobile launches a new live streaming platform ‘VenewLive‘together.
Big Hit Entertainment announced on February 10 that YG Entertainment and Universal Music Group decided to invest KBYK Live, a joint venture of Big Hit and Kiswe Mobile. Big Hit and Kiswe signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in May 2020 and founded their joint company KBYK Live in September of the same year. Since then, KBYK Live has been using its live streaming platform ‘VenewLive’ for Big Hit artists, such as BTS‘online concerts’Bang Bang Con: The Live‘and’BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON: E‘.
YG and UMG plan to partner with KBYK Live to grow the platform ‘VenewLive’ as a platform for artists around the world through their joint investments. VenewLive plans to showcase various digital performance elements in the future, such as live chatting and purchasing official merchandise tailored to each artist and their fans.
