US President Joe Biden stumbled several times on Friday while climbing the stairs of Air Force One.
The accident he suffered occurred when he boarded the presidential plane.
The cameras show that Biden stumbles first one of the steps and when he got up it slipped and fell again.
Biden, 78, hopped on Air Force One to travel to Atlanta – a city mourning the shootings of three massage parlors this week – to report an increase in violence against the Asian community across the country.
The visit to this great city in the southern United States was planned as a tour focused on the pandemic and massive stimulus plan approved by Congress, but the massacre that shocked the United States changed the agenda.
Biden will be accompanied by Vice President Kamala Harris, who will meet with representatives of the Asian community and Pacific Islanders in the afternoon and deliver a speech at Emory University.
“They are meeting state legislators and community representatives to hear about the impact of the incident on the community and to hear their perspective,” said press secretary Jen Paski.
Biden will take the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to “fight xenophobia, bigotry and hatred”.
