Rudy Giuliani‘s son, Andrew, who worked as a top assistant Donald Trump, said he is “heavily considering” running for governor in New York in the 2022 elections.
“I plan to run,” he told the Washington Examiner in an April 7 story.
Outside of someone called Trump, I think I have the best chance of winning and taking the state back, and I think there is a chance in 2022 with an injured Democratic candidate, be it Gov. Current New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is in his third term and is believed to be fleeing again. He is the son of the former New York Governor Mario Cuomo, who held office for three terms.

Reports have shown that top Cuomo employees have rewritten a report by state health officials to hide Covid-19 deaths as nursing homes – and to safeguard his reputation as a strong, effective leader. In addition, Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by countless women.
According to The New York Times, federal authorities have launched an investigation into Cuomo’s dealings with nursing homes during the pandemic, including whether he and his senior staff members gave the U.S. Justice Department false numbers about deaths in these facilities.
The state attorney general is investigating the sexual harassment claims and New York lawmakers have launched an investigation to determine whether they should file impeachment papers against him, Politico reports.
