President Biden stumbled several times walking up the stairs of Air Force One on Friday, new video shows.
The 78-year-old commander in chief had his hand on the railing when he tripped twice before falling over a third time as he flew up the stairs of the idling plane at Joint Base Andrews.
After he recovered, Biden seemed to take a moment to dust off his knee before finally making his way to the top. He then saluted before diving into the cabin to ascend to Georgia.
Kate Bedingfield, White House communications director, said Biden was not injured.
“I know people have seen President Biden slip up the stairs to AF1, but I am happy to report that he is doing well and that he does not even require any attention from the medical team traveling with him,” she tweeted“Nothing more than a slip on the stairs.”
