Best stocking filler? The Lakers got rings, but the Clippers got PS5s

The LA Clippers had to cool down their jets pregame as their arena rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, received their last reward for winning the NBA 2019-2020 title: their championship rings. But they’d already picked up some pretty sweet swag before they even set foot on the pitch.

Little striker Nicolas Batum doesn’t seem to be the only Clippers player to receive a PlayStation 5 with new headphones in his locker when he shared this from the locker room pregame:

This may have come as a surprise to Clippers head coach Ty Lue. When asked if he also got a PS5: “Maybe I don’t know what I have.”

Getting such treats made the Clippers pretty good for their free time – PS5s just came out in November and it’s not easy to get that deep into the Christmas shopping season. Whoever wins the first game of the season between the rivals of the Western Conference, the Clippers apparently already have a head start on winning Christmas.
