Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas broke up on whether or not to have a family together, sources exclusively tell Page Six. But friends think there is a chance for a Hollywood ending, and the lovebirds will reconcile.
Page six confirmed the breakup on Monday, with a source telling us that the couple – who had been together for nearly a year – were in “different places” in their lives. Another source elaborated further that the breakup came in children. “He would not oblige to have more children,” said the insider. ‘She’s in her thirties. It was a deal breaker. ”
Affleck, 48, has three children – Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and 8-year-old Samuel – with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. De Armas, 32, has no children.
Another source close to the couple explains, “Ben is not in a place to start a new family. Both he and Ana have lined up three jobs. His family has and will remain his focus. ”
While we’ve been told the decision to split was mutual, friends think the couple may not be done for good. “They could get back together,” said a source. “They’re in love. People they know think it’s temporary.”
The pair first met on the set of their thriller, “Deep Water,” and as Page Six reported, they were then seen enjoying a romantic trip to Havana last March. They have since been seen in paparazzi photos on dog outings and coffee drinking in LA.
But after being quarantined together, she went home to visit relatives, sparking rumors that the relationship was on the rocks.
The Post reported Monday that in the wake of the split, the Armas were looking for rental properties in West Hollywood after moving into Affleck’s $ 20 million mansion and marketing her home in Venice, California last month.
Representatives did not immediately comment.
