2020 was the year when many thought we would finally start hearing and seeing more Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch. As you know, the year came and went without substantial updates on the project. Fortunately, this is not necessarily a problem as work on the game is said to still go smoothly.

In a new update of PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya given to Famitsu, it was said that Bayonetta 3 is still ongoing and the game is doing well. First, many people are concerned Bayonetta 3 as there is no new information since the announcement, but verifications of new systems have been excellent and development is going very well, so please wait with peace of mind, ”Kamiya clarified. This post is similar to the update the studio gave on the title last year.

The Platinum team has stated that many times over the years Bayonetta 3 is in a good place with its development, suggesting that the game may not have been released until quite early. For those who don’t remember, the title was first revealed at The Game Awards in 2017. Since then, however, no additional trailers or gameplay footage has been shown leading to a now three-year gap without anything. new to get off.

That said, it may be in 2021 And last but not least turn out to be different. For now, we don’t know what Nintendo really has planned to release in the course of the year, meaning the game could fit in anywhere when it’s finally ready to ship. But before that comes out, you could imagine that we were going to see some more footage of the game, perhaps in a Nintendo Direct that the publisher could keep in the coming months.

For now everything we know Bayonetta 3 It is certain that when it is released it will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. If you’d like to stay up to date with game progress, you can keep following all of our reporting here.
