Bayonetta 3 Creator begs fans to ‘forget’ the Nintendo Switch game for now

We’ve heard a lot about it Bayonetta 3 in the past month or so. Just a few weeks ago, one of the lead developers of the title at PlatinumGames said they would like to update fans on the status of the project at some point in 2021. However, not long after making this statement, it sounds like the studio member in question now has another suggestion in mind for fans.

In a new interview with VGC, PlatinumGames founder Hideki Kamiya said it might be easier if those who are looking forward to it Bayonetta 3 could just completely forget about it. “I understand it drives the fans crazy!” Kamiya said about the lack of news about the game. In light of that, my suggestion would be that maybe we should all reset and forget Bayonetta 3. Then when something finally happens, it will be a nice surprise, won’t it? “

Despite encouraging fans to remove it here Bayonetta 3 From their minds, Kamiya also had largely positive news about the project. While Kamiya isn’t entirely determined, he said there is a good chance that 2021 will finally be the year we hear more about the highly anticipated sequel. It’s not really our position to say, but … it’s January. We have to let something out, right? Kamiya asked. “I think it is safe to expect something to come out. There is still a lot of year left, is what I mean.”

While it may not be appealing to fans to ‘forget’ a game they are so looking forward to, Kamiya probably has a point in this case. The sooner many fans who are enthusiastic about the game can no longer dwell on the arrival, the more exciting it will be when a new trailer or information inevitably appears.

For now we know for sure Bayonetta 3 is that it is scheduled to release indefinitely, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. When we finally hear more about the game later this year, we’ll of course keep you up to date here at ComicBook.com.
