Bárbara Mori, who settled permanently in Mexico when she was 12 years old, during his youth he worked in different companies to save money and start living independently. Then we will tell you what were the jobs that the Uruguayan did before he became famous.
In an interview with the film critic, Silvestre López Portillo, Bárbara Mori remembered how she started her career as an actress, but she also talked about her early work, which little by little led her to the acting world.
“When I was 14 years old, I started working in the pizzeria my father owned. There I started and earned what I deserved, half I gave to my father for the house and the other half I tried to save, but it was very difficult because I did not earn very well ”.
Because She did not earn much money and wanted to become independent, Bárbara Morí went to work in clubs.
“I remember working in the clubs at night secretly from my father. I worked as a dancer in a club, as a bartender in a club out there, you learn and they teach you, ”said the actress.
While performing these tasks, Bárbara Mori met a man who offered to join his modeling agency, so she started modeling.
“In the pizzeria, there was a man who was a client who ran a modeling agency and he always told me my face, that I should do commercials, but my father wouldn’t let me, but his wife convinced him and I started making commercials he recalled.
The first months before B.aRbara Mori wasn’t easy because he couldn’t stay in a commercial.
“I was like 6 months going to castings, touring town and I didn’t stay in anything, then I joined the desk as a secretary and suddenly I started working, I stayed in one commercial and then another.”
The actress was questioned about her first commercial, Barbara said it was for gum.
“It was an advertisement for chewing gum, it was filmed in Reino Aventura at the time and I was very excited when I saw the commercial, I could only see the back of my neck, I lay down on my back (…), I did it never catwalk because I wasn’t big, but I had a lot of fun in the commercials ”.
