President Barack Obama shared his TV watch list, which featured some of the year’s most exciting and award-winning shows.
In a interview with Entertainment Weekly, where the former POTUS also talked about the writing process for his latest memoirs A promised land, Obama revealed that this is one of his favorite shows at the moment The boys, Good place, you better call Saul and HBO’s Emmy-winning Guards.
“You better call Saul, for his amazing characters and exploration of the dark side of the American dream. The right place – it’s a wise and sweet combination of crazy comedy and big philosophical questions. And Guards and The boys, for how they turn superhero conventions upside down to expose issues like race, capitalism and the disruptive effects of corporate and mass media power, ”Obama said when asked about the television titles that help him relax. “Oh, and the NBA playoffs – because they’re hoops!”
