Baptist Health is offering 12,000 COVID-19 vaccine appointments starting Friday

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Baptist Health is launching an online appointment scheduling platform starting Friday, offering accommodation for 12,000 slots for people over 65 and other people at high risk of receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

A Baptist Health South Florida press release stated that those 65 and old as well as high-risk community members can make an appointment starting Friday.

The website is Baptisthealth.net.

Those who get an appointment will be given a distribution time slot that begins Monday.

“We expect to continue to add availability as we add additional locations in the coming weeks,” the release said. “The light at the end of the tunnel shines just a bit brighter. In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to take appropriate security measures as we make progress in this battle. “
