Puerto Rican recording artist, Bad Bunny, kicked off the year with the release of the video for the song “Booker T” featuring the famous wrestler of the same name.
The video was previously released on YouTube and now has more than four million views.
Meanwhile, the Puerto Rican ragman posted a photo with Booker T on his Instagram account with the message, “I’m a king, champion, Booker T 🔥 new video featuring the legend @bookertfivex.”
The appearance of the WWE wrestler did not surprise many as the issue bears his name. Last month, Booker T had expected Bad Bunny to ask him for permission to use his name in one of his songs.
“He actually came up, he was a fan. One of those kids, you know, growing up, getting in trouble, doing the spin-a-rooni, kicking someone with scissors. That’s the beauty of it: it was organic. It wasn’t something he and I had to work on. It was just that he was a fan of mine, and I’m a fan of the new generation and what young people are doing right nowBooker T said, according to the page https://www.prwrestling.com/.
The song is part of the album “The last tour of the world” that Bad Bunny released at the end of November 2020. This production also includes songs like “The world is mine”, “You moving”, “Today I charge” and “Last night’s night”, the latter in a duet with Spanish Rosalía.
Booker T is an American professional wrestler who worked under the WWE signature.
He has been a six-time World Champion, five-time WCW Heavyweight World Champion, and five-time WWE Champion of the United States. In addition, he has won the King of the Ring tournament in 2006, is the 16th Triple Crown champion, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
