Gianna Hammer, a former contestant on MTV’s “Are You The One?”, Claims a co-star “sexually assaulted” her on the set of the dating show – after she was allegedly given a pill by the production.
Hammer – who starred in Season 5 in 2017 – claims she was attacked by the unnamed cast member after the production allegedly gave her one of her own prescription pills to “ calm down ” during a drunken fight, according to a novel. report from The Daily Beast.
“I was super confused, super nervous,” Hammer told the publication about the morning after the alleged incident at a meeting with producers. Hammer said the man she accused of assault has not been removed from the show.

Producers Lighthearted Entertainment denied Hammer’s allegations, telling The Daily Beast that it welcomes an investigation and “will cooperate with full transparency.”

Hammer told The Daily Beast that before going to the show, she took a low dose of the antidepressant Zoloft every day before going to bed. She said that doctors had advised her not to take it with alcohol – this was abundantly on the schedule – but that they were given the medication every morning from a local doctor.
“Their logic was that I didn’t have too much of it,” said Hammer. “So if I took it early in the morning, it wouldn’t really affect me later in the evening.”
On the night in question, Hammer claims that before she was attacked, she got into a drunken verbal altercation with a cast member. She said one of the last things she remembers is producers who would tell me “to calm down and give me one of my medications.”

Hammer ended up in the bed of a male cast member later that night, but was pulled out after her co-stars heard her say “ no, ” Hammer told her.

Hayden Weaver, another cast partner on season 5 of the show who started dating Hammer after filming, backed up parts of her story from that night.
“I remember looking at the room at one point and a camera pointed where Gianna was lying,” he said. “I couldn’t see what exactly they were filming, I just assumed they were taking some pictures of people sleeping, which they can edit into stuff for the show.
