AT&T is reporting outages related to the Nashville explosion

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (WKYT) – AT&T officials are reporting outages in parts of Kentucky and Tennessee in connection with an explosion in downtown Nashville on Christmas morning.

AT&T is responding to people who post on Twitter that they are aware of the problems and attribute them to the explosion.

Karen, we are in contact with law enforcement and are working as soon as possible to restore service for some customers in Nashville and surrounding areas. This is due to damage to our facilities from the explosion this morning. We appreciate your patience.

Various emergency services also report disruptions in the emergency services. Officials are asking people to use the non-emergency phone line if they have trouble reaching an operator.
